How do I set up a preferred customer account for FREE pickup & delivery?
You will love the many benefits of our Preferred Customer Program including Pickup and Delivery of your Dry Cleaning and Laundry, automatic payment of your bill, quick check in at the store, and access to after-hours Drop box.
What if I don’t need dry cleaning or laundry every week? Do I have to call?
No need to call. If you don’t have laundry, simply don’t leave it out. There’s no minimum amount of laundry and no charge for a missed week. We’re already in your neighborhood, so it’s no problem for us to drive by and check.
What time do you pick up and deliver?
Pickup and delivery times differ. We ask that you leave your bag out by 8:30 a.m. on your pick up day, and we’ll deliver your clothes and household items back before 5:00 p.m. on the next delivery day.
How do I pay?
We make payment easy by automatically billing your credit card after each visit. We keep your credit card information SAFE AND SECURE with industry-accepted encryption technology. Only our authorized staff can read any information that is transmitted to us through our online forms. Please contact us if you have further questions.
Do I have to be home when you pick up and deliver my clothes?
Not at all! Most of our residential customers aren’t home when we pick up and deliver their laundry. You route driver will help you select a location that meets certain criteria and we’ll supply you with a bag to protect your laundry from the weather and a HOOK for your clean clothes to hang from when they are returned. That way, we can pick up and deliver without you even knowing we were there, and you can go to work, run your errands, or play in the back yard with the kids.
How often do you pick up?
We are building our route coverage area and are striving to drive each route two days a week. Currently, we are picking up on Mondays and Wednesdays. Your clothes will be returned to you within 48 hours or the next route day. Fill out our sign up form and we’ll get a WELCOME KIT to you pronto!
What’s a welcome kit?
It is our way of welcoming you to our delivery service! In your welcome kit, you’ll receive a laundry bag, a hook to be placed on your door, spot stickers to indicate any known spots, and some starter coupons to enjoy as you get accustomed to our free delivery service.
What if I have specific instructions or a concern with my garment?
If you have special instructions, attach a note to the item in your bag or call our main office at (816) 364-6141 and one of our customer service representatives will help you with your concerns.
Is it really free?
Our delivery and pickup service is no extra charge to you. You pay the same price for Pick-up and Delivery Cleaning as you do at our store location. We’re already in your neighborhood, delivering and picking up laundry for customers just like you, so we’re happy to save you two trips, at no extra cost.
What about alterations?
We are always happy to help you with your alterations. We do everything from buttons to zippers, hemming and taking in, shortening and removing unwanted pockets. Please leave detailed instructions with your items to be altered.
Is it ok to leave my clothes outdoors?
Yes, we’ll help you find a weather-safe place to leave your laundry. And, laundry is not typically of any interest to thieves. Please contact us with any weather-related location changes.
What if I need a faster turnaround time?
Most of our customers find that because we pick up and deliver two days a week, the turnaround time is ample. However, you can still use our in-store location in an emergency. Unlike other cleaners, who ship their cleaning out to a facility that offers them the best price, East Hills Cleaners does all their cleaning in-house, using Planet-Friendly cleaning methods. If you need your items sooner than your delivery date, please notify us of this special request and we can have your clothes ready at our 3603 Faraon Street location by 5:00 pm the day after they are picked up.
